For as long as I can remember, my birthday always brings with it a HUGE storm of emotions - the excitement of celebrating, looking forward to all the attention but also extreme anxiety on the possibility of the day being absolutely sub-par. I’m not big on surprises but I’m a partially hopeless romantic. Which means I’ll romanticise special moments, dates, actions, the whole schbang - I’ll do it for my loved ones and I hope they do it for me. Recently I was reminded of what I’d told a friend back in 2023 - “Next year, I know I won’t be single for my birthday”. I never had someone in mind or even a concrete plan of action. I just knew I’d want to have someone that I can love on a day so special to me. We all know what happened then😋🥹 While there’s barely any pictures, this birthday was romanticised and how. From loved ones coming in for the birthday eve to the entire day with beautiful meals, LOTS of quality time and then ending it with a weekend of bar hopping. So here’s so turning 28, here’s to the last birthday of being “single” (kind of) and to the firsts of many at the same time♥️✨
