To me, Italy was always synonymous to Rome and nothing more. But, a few hours in Florence & I’m scared that it’s going to end up becoming my new favourite city in the entire world♥️ 1. Took the train from Sorrento to Florence and if you’re travelling with more than 2 large suitcases, would strongly recommend against it. Imagine having to disembark in under 8 minutes with 6 full sized suitcases, a child, his stroller and more🙂 FYI - After an entire strategy of divide & conquer in place, we achieved this in 2 minutes😂 2. Walked around Florence to watch the sunset by Ponte Vecchio - beautiful location but again, there wasn’t a visible sun to actually capture the damn sunset. 3. Another meal, another re-run of the same pasta & pizza orders. This is what happens when you’re a vegetarian✌🏽 4. Ended the day with an insanely good Lavender gelato. I don’t know what it is but it just tastes🤌🏽
