#throwback I contemplated for months - 3 to be precise, on if I ever wanted this to make it to social media. But the past 6 months have been a SHITSHOW (understatement) and I’d be doing a disservice if I didn’t stand up for her - the girl who walked onto stage to receive an award while *recovering* from Bell’s Palsy🥹 (and for NatGeo that too!) So this one’s for her. Because she deserves the recognition and SO much more✨ And to @niharika_nm, who met me with extreme warmth, bothered to ask me how I am, empowered me and made me feel so comfortable that I wasn’t conscious anymore🫶🏽 Although it’s my job, influencer content hasn’t been much of a personal jam for me & I never truly fan-girled over someone, until Instagram led me to @niharika_nm a few years ago. And in the worst of times, I got truly lucky to have met her on a day which was a HUGE career milestone for me. PS - @karanpheri @mrunalidedhia @justvaya in moments where I didn’t want to walk out, when I wanted to crawl & hide under a table because it all felt so miserable in public, thank you - for noticing every twitch, every muscle movement and for constantly pushing me that day to embrace it, as is💕
