I first met Jayatri about eight years ago thanks to @sreenandashankar who introduced her as “my sister and genius who makes the best chocolate cake ever.” One bite and I was floored. Absolute magic! Then she went out of the city for a bit to sharpen her skills abroad and came back, not with cakes this time, but ice-creams! That’s how The Fat Little Penguin waddled into our lives and I was lucky enough to be one of the first to taste it. Rich, creamy, indulgent and real. No frozen dessert nonsense. Just pure joy in a tub. I’ve been hooked ever since. For years, we kept asking her, “So when do we get a store?” And guess what, the wait’s finally over! The Fat Little Penguin has grown up into @mischiefand.company . The name’s cheekier, the space is super cute, and the ice-creams still mind-blowingly good. My long time favourite After Dark now has some serious competition from Chocolate Sorbet! Mischief & Co is now open opposite Alien Tattoo, Purna Das Road.
