We were cooking and eating by the riverside in remote Assam, surrounded by nature and people who welcomed us like family. This is the side of India that doesn’t make it to glossy brochures and viral reels. The way people show up for you without expecting anything back. For me, this will always mean more than a five-star meal. And just to say, we left the place exactly as we found it. Every bit of trash was picked up and nothing touched in the water.
