𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵? We all have seen people who keep preaching about integrity, transparency, values, and ethics on social media and within their teams. But when you notice their actions, they act exactly opposite to what they preach. It’s 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 about integrity in meetings. It’s 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 it when targets are at risk. It’s 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸 for accountability. It’s 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 it when things go wrong. It’s 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 about ethics. It’s 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 it when your team is just one sale away from hitting the target and you have a shortcut to get that sale done. What you choose in these situations that’s where your leadership is tested. A manager once told his team, “Take ownership. Be accountable.” Sounds right. But when a mistake happened, he shifted the blame to the team in front of senior leadership. That one moment changed everything. The team didn’t stop working. But they stopped trusting. Do you practice what you preach in public, or do you just choose the easy path? Not just in corporates, it defines what kind of person you are. Should people trust you? Should they respect you? Should they value and act on what you preach? All these things are defined by a single question. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵? So sit with yourself and reflect on your actions, are they aligned with what you preach or not? ♻ 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 to remind, leadership is not what you say; it’s what you do. 📌 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 Abhinav Mohod for daily actionable leadership insights. #Leadership #Trust #CorporateCulture #HR hashtag#CHRO #PeopleFirstAcademy
