Sometimes our little efforts make kids so happy 🥰 My elder daughter is very sober (just opposite of the younger one 🤣) She demands rarely & this birthday she wanted to take her favourite whole wheat chocolate banana pancake in her tiffin with chocolate sauce (I think she wanted to impress her friends with her mommy’s cooking skill 😜) But chocolate sauce’s spillage issue was a big thing… & then we found Basil Bento quad boxes. Thanks @shareyourbasil for this great product & saving us from all tiffin leakage issues :) Detailed recipe for Whole wheat chocolate banana pancake :- For pancake - Ingredients: 1. Banana - 2 (prefer over ripe bananas) 2. Milk - 1 cup approx 3. Sugar - 3 tbsp 4. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp 5. Whole wheat flour - 3/4 cup 6. Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup 7. Baking powder - 1 tsp 8. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp 9. Butter - 1/4 cup (melted) 10. Chopped nuts or fry fruits optional Method - 1. Grind banana, 1/2 cup milk, sugar & vanilla essence together in a grinder. 2. In another bowl sift whole wheat flour, cocoa, baking powder & baking soda. 3. Now gradually mix dry ingredients to wet ingredients. 4. Add another 1/2 cup milk as required to make batter consistency pourable. 5. Now make small or big pancakes & cook covered on low flame for a couple of minutes then flip & cook from the other side too. For chocolate syrup:- Ingredients: 1. Water - 1 cup 2. Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp 3. Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup Method :- 1. Mix cocoa & powdered sugar with water in a pan 2. When it becomes lump free then put in medium flame to boil. 3. Turn the flame to low & Keep stirring it otherwise it may burn. 4. After 7-8 mins of boil turn off the flame when you see the syrup is separating from bottom while scrapping. 5. The syrup gets thick after getting cool.
