Basant Panchami’r Shubechha 🌼 I grew up in Kolkata, where Saraswati Pujo was always a big deal. Every year, we dressed head-to-toe in yellow, participated in the paras drawing competition, won the quiz (Dad and I were an unbeatable team 😌), and waited eagerly for the most delicious bhog. There was also an unsaid rule—no touching books on this day. And oh, how we lived for it! Now, the Bengali community in Bombay @hoyichoyi makes sure I can give my kids a glimpse of the culture I grew up with. Took them to the pandal and relived so many childhood memories. Didn’t tell them our “no-book-touching” theory though… shhh 🤫 Also had the season’s first ber 💛 Btw, did you know this day is also known as Bengali Valentines Day? 🤣 Anyone here who celebrates Saraswati Pujo? 🌼 #basantpanchami #saraswatipujo #masaraswati
