We headed off to the @holidayinnmayurvihar to try out the Jamuna Paar food festival which is serving delicacies from cities extending along the Yamuna River. Starting off at the refreshment counter with a selection of Kaanji, Chaanch or Lassi with some Samosas a quintessential UP style welcome, follow it up at the Chaat counter with Aloo Tikki, Dahi ke Batashe and Kachoris served with Subzi and Raita from Agra and Ferozabad For starters, there were some interesting Mutton Chopan Kebabs and Bater Tawa Fry. The mains included Aloo Gutika, Anukut ki Sabzi, Dak Bungalow Chicken, Hukum ka Gosht, Matar Paneer, Methi Gajar and Kadhi Pakoda with some Naan. For desserts, there were Dehat ke Rasgulley, Gajrola, Imarti, Namkeen aur Shira, Pedha and Petha.
