What I planned as a weekend getaway turned out to be one of most blissfull days ✨🤌 Follow for more travel info and stories I think I finally get why people call Almora the quiet heart of Uttarakhand🫶 Kumaon doesn’t scream for attention, it just sits there, peaceful, underrated, untouched… and somehow ends up changing you a little✨ This trip felt like slow therapy: the pine forests, the Himalayan views, the tiny Almora market, that warm Kumaoni chai- nothing dramatic, yet everything meaningful 🥹 We keep running to the hyped places of Uttarakhand, but Kumaon? Kumaon is for people who want stories instead of crowds. Silence instead of chaos. Soul instead of selfies 😊What surprised me most is how real everything feels here- the culture, the food, the calm. No filters needed, no rush, no pressure to “do it all.” Maybe that’s why Almora and Kumaon stay underrated… because only the right kind of traveller finds them.
