The book is supposed to be on friendship, growing up, getting adulthood in NYC, and I was expecting character, development of the relationship between two people Zoe and Victor, I was expecting layers of human story, emotional journey but the story swept away after 3rd chapter, it was completely lost in chat and unnecessary characters. Narration was flaky, waffer thin plot, pop culture and chatting overloaded, writing felt messy, couldn't find who's POV is actually I am reading, all the characters don't have any character.
