Horror story serves best when it's short stories and Souvik Chakraborty did it in the best way. This book shifted me into my teens, when summer vacation was full of stories and as a vigorous horror reader I enjoyed this book with the same enthusiasm as I did before. Souvik's stories remind me of my old days and it's full of bengali vibes. In the story Nessie and Village of Kuldhara, the story telling uncle who has lots of experience reminder of Satyajit Ray and his books. In typical Bengali life culture, there was always an uncle who is a traveller or maybe researcher or archeologists, and they are suppliers of great folklore and legends from around the world, and they saved us in our lonely summer afternoon with their knowledge. Souvik's story telling is beautiful and lucid, the way he recreated the stories from popular urban legends and telling them in a relatable way. He picked up good stories and preserved them with his words, you will feel a chilled sensation run down in your spine. For me it was a great experience to go back to my old days... Thank you @souvikc535 for writing them and brewing the nostalgia warmly 🫶🩷 I am savouring it slowly..... Which genre was your poison in your school days? And immensely grateful you for this opportunity to @escapingtheordinary_ please don't forget me whenever you have a horror book 🫠😅 @kolkatabookworms @c0x_studio #Theladylivesinbook #Explore #Urbanlegends #Kolkatabookworms
