The writing style is unique and flawless. Such an intriguing read with sharp and reflective writing. The story follows seven women, each carrying her own battle. A psychiatrist who cannot outrun her own past. A maid who sells her grief to survive, a widow, a socialite, a woman who learns that motherhood can arrive without birth, a rich girl, an actress, a psychiatrist haunted by her past. I loved the women-centric narrative. The characters felt real and relatable. This is a story about survival and silent strength. This is a slow, character-driven read.
