The story revolves around Simon Henley, head of Moscow Station. He is trying to uncover a Russian Mole in his own team. Here, his star double-agent, Tesla, requests to defect, which forces Simon to take a dangerous decision. This is a well-written book with well-developed characters. The author captures the solitude and seclusion of espionage. This is a story about deception and betrayal. The spies are described perfectly as sensitive and imperfect. This is not an easy read. The dense characters at the start of the book need readers' attention. This intriguing thriller will keep us glued to the page. The twists and turns make it an unputdownable read.
