The book Harbour of Hungry Ghosts by @elizachanwrites is getting more interesting.Now it is not only about ghost hunting but about cultural clash and invasion of new culture in colonies.The tyranny manifests itself in new forms, the contempt of the so called people in power for the Oriental culture and the masses. 🪕 I couldn't help laughing at Villian hitting, it must be a such a sight.The clashes between the colonizers and the inhabitants is becoming more tense as I read further. 🪕 It acutely reminds me of India's condition about which I read in history books. During the early days of imperial rule when they invaded not only the land but also into the homes of common people ridiculing their culture, education and backgrounds.
