Those who know me well know I am nowhere close to being an early riser… but waking up for the Ankura Preemethon 5K Walk felt completely worth it. There’s something grounding about starting the day with a purpose and watching families, young kids, doctors, nurses, and volunteers come together for preemie awareness was honestly beautiful. The morning began with a fun Zumba energizer, and only got better from there. Having Olympic champion and the ever inspirational Saina Nehwal @nehwalsaina as the Chief Guest was special. My daughter and I have always looked up to her and her presence surely elevated the spirit of the event. I am so glad we could have a lovely moment with her, though my daughter is jealous now 😜 A big shoutout to my friend and the absolutely amazing @archana_suresh2020 for being part of this as the Guest of Honour. Also, to my loveliest friends @namratabs @momandthebeauty @sumispassionbook @priyanka_mallikm and all other amazing fellow creators who made this morning memorable. While I will of course be sharing more about the event soon, I want to take a moment to give a huge kudos to the organisers, Ankura Hospitals and the Aayu Foundation, for creating a movement that truly matters. Prematurity is more common than we realise, and timely neonatal care can change everything.
