What an energetic afternoon spent at Birla Open Minds International School! I was invited for their Authors' Week to meet the wonderful minds of Grades 3, 4 and 5 from their CAIE curriculum, and what a joy it was. I spoke about my journey, from starting as a blogger over a decade ago to discovering that writing is truly a superpower. We spoke about imagination, observation, and how every child can create memorable characters that carry their stories forward. The kids dove into the activity with such enthusiasm that the whole room felt alive. And of course… the best part? Being flocked for autographs, tiny hands holding out notebooks, bookmarks, even random scraps of paper. That pure excitement is something else and truly warmed my heart 🫶 I also gifted signed copies of Box of Tales to the school, which made the moment even more special. So much enthusiasm, so many ideas, and so much fun. Thank you, Birla Open Minds International School, for such an interactive and heartwarming session.
