This trip turned out to be the most magical trip by the ocean but I had my doubts about going to Lakshadweep, and probably it was one of the most confusing destinations in India if you’re planning a trip. I went solo, and honestly it’s not that easy to get here. You first need to get a PCC (police clearance certificate) and then apply for permits to visit specific islands. The number visitors per week is very limited, so you need to apply in advance. I stayed in Agatti and Kavaratti island and visited multiple uninhabited islands nearby. If you’re a water baby, you’d love this place! Lakshadweep has magical blue waters and very rich aquatic life and coral reefs. You can do a scuba course, snorkel, kayak, or just jump out of the boat like me, the list is endless. There’s some language barrier but the locals are very helpful and sweet. The island life has its own charm which is hard to explain in words. Planning a trip here needs some time and effort because of the rules and regulations. So stay tuned for all the boring details to plan this trip (it’s a long list). [Lakshadweep, Agatti, Bangaram, Kavaratti, Lakshadweep itinerary, how to plan a trip to Lakshadweep, Maldives]
