I don’t know why Indians always go to Norway or Finland to see the Northern Lights when there’s a much cheaper and easier option—Murmansk, Russia. It’s right next to Finland’s Lapland, but you don’t need a Schengen visa. Just apply for a simple e-visa from home, and you’re good to go for 16 days. Everything here is way more affordable—Northern Lights tours, glass igloos, husky rides, reindeer rides, even ice floating with glaciers. You can even visit the last land before the North Pole in the Arctic Circle. This has to be one of the craziest trips I’ve done, and I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about it! If you’re confused about how to plan your trip to Russia or feeling unsure about the process, stay tuned for my next reel—I’ll break down everything from booking flights and applying for a visa to finding hotels, managing cash, and more!
