Seasonal Tastes @westin.chennai I was here along with my sis and my brother-in-law for the Bengali Food Festival. I must say we did enjoy it thoroughly. Firstly, the location. This is located opposite to Guru Nanak College and has valet parking service. The ambiance was good. Restaurant was spacious. Staffs were courteous. Special mention to Sakshi & Chef Abhijit Halder & the team for making our evening memorable. Since it was Dussehra, my sis and I went only for veg option. We were served with welcome drink & veg starters which included Mochar Chops, Beetroot Cutlet. Highlight on the main course Basanti Pulao which is made with saffron and rice giving it a unique taste and went well with Pineapple and Mango chutneys. There were wide spread of salads which included fruits and vegetables. There was a special live counter for Chaats and rolls. Desserts were at its usual best which also had Turkish delight, Baklava.
