If there is one thing that toddlers love it is dropping objects or putting objects inside boxes. Do you know why that is? One reason is that they love seeing what happens when they drop something. The sound, movement, and disappearance of the object fascinates them. It also helps introduce the concept of object permanence meaning a thing exists even when it disappears. These simple activities help toddlers develop **hand-eye coordination**, **fine motor skills**, and **grip strength**, which are essential for everyday tasks like self-feeding and writing later on. They also encourage **focus and problem-solving** as little ones figure out how to fit objects into small spaces. Plus, they introduce **early STEM concepts** like cause and effect, making learning both fun and engaging.
