We’re taught to resolve ourselves. Pick a side. Be one thing at a time. But nature never worked that way. Neither does the brain. A leaf leans because both sides exist. Movement happens because opposing forces stay active. What feels like inner conflict is often two systems doing their job at once. Memory pulling from where you’ve been. Possibility pulling toward what’s next. You don’t have to become less to be whole. You don’t have to cancel one truth to honour another. Fear and hope. Holding and reaching. Safety and risk.
