⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Shadows of Innocence: A Story of Selfless Love by Malika D is an engrossing read which keeps the readers hooked till the end. The story is about four people, Zain, Sanam, Osman and Kiran. Osman and Sanam are hopeless lovers. The author's flawless narrative makes everything vivid. The writing style is unique and flawless. This book explored all things like love, betrayal, heartbreak and politics. Shadows of Innocence is written with an emotional depth, that we can literally feel the emotions of the characters while reading. I loved Zain's morally grey character. I adored the strong female characters. The twists and turns make it an unputdownable read. It is a blend of family drama, romance and suspense. Overall, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all.
