⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Fear by L. Ron Hubbard is an enthralling psychological horror which keeps the readers hooked till the end. The story revolves around Professor James Lowry, who teaches ethnology at Atworthy College. He does not believe in ghosts, the supernatural or any type of dark fantasy. One day when he returns home, he notices that he left at 2:45... and reached home at 6:45. He somehow lost four hours and his hat. He has no memory of the four hours. James Lowry is warned if he finds the hat and gets the memory of the four hours, he will be demised. Lowry is pursued by a dark, secret evil that is turning his whole world against him while it whispers a his forgotten scary story from the shadows. The story is intriguing with a fast-paced plot. The author's rich prose makes everything vivid. The writing style is unique and flawless. The twists and turns make it an unputdownable read. Such a classic horror read which gives chills to the readers. Fear is a appropriate title for this book. This book will creeps us out and gets under our skin. Overall, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all.
