Hey! I see a lot of new people around here, allow me to introduce myself ✨ : My name is Aishwarya Jain, I am a clinical psychologist practising in India 🇮🇳 ✨A curiosity about how the human mind works and what drives people to behave the way they do is what encouraged me towards the field of psychology. ✨Years later today, I feel I have found my own passion. I find it a privilege to play a part in stories of my clients. I celebrate those moments with here I see hope in the eyes of a client or a recognition of her own greatness or a long abandoned laugh. There’s nothing I’d rather do in my life. ✨I do realise the fact that it’s common for clients to think that the primary function of therapy is to give advice and conventionally an individual with more life experience is like be more qualified for o give advice. However I believe good work in sessions is evocative. ✨Being a young therapist also has its advantages. I’m fresh from school, a couple of years into my private practise, up to date with the lastest research, tech savvy and keen on finding new resources for clients. Also, My younger clients enjoy a high relatability factor. ✨I strongly believe that Competence and good work beats everything, also, psycho education helps me in being at my A game while discussing treatment and different symptoms. ✨My goal is to work on a global level and change the narrative around mental health. Normalise seeking support while continuing my work with clients and bringing out the best in them. ✨💕🌻
