Toilet training series Part-2 To know when to start toilet training for your child watch Part-1. This method is meant for toddlers between 18-36months. I came across this method and thought of experimenting on my 23month old toddler. I decided to share this because doing something like this in the span of 3days seems unreal to me but this method os truly genius. The most important part which I can't emphasize enough is that you shouldn't venture out much except playtime outdoors. If you're keen on potty training then do this deligently for 3days and make your child go every half an hour to one hour. Giving more fluids will make them use the potty more frequently giving them more chances to learn. So if you're a working parent like I am, start this over the weekend and on Monday ask their primary caregiver to follow this exact method - no underwear or diapers and potty seat remains at the same location and give them plenty of fluids. From 4th day onwards introduce the potty training pants. Please note that even after your child themselves start using the potty seat accidents may happen sometimes because they're learning to control their pee. This method is so fast that if after 4th day you take your toddler out they will refuse to pee in their diaper because that is not normal to them anymore and just like us they want to use the toilet. If this doesn't work for your child due to some reason immediately stop and try in 3-4 weeks again after they have forgotten about it. Comment 'Guide' and I will share with you a resource to know more about this '3day potty training method' [Potty training, diaper free, parenting hack, toilet training, indian mom blogger]
