
Langar di Daal/ ਲੰਗਰ ਦੀ ਦਾਲ ਸਾਦਗੀ ’ਚ ਹੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ‘ਲੰਗਰ ਦੀ ਦਾਲ’ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿਆਰ, ਸੇਵਾ, ਤੇ ਸਾਂਝ ਸੱਚੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਹਨ। ਆਓ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਖਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਸੋਈਘਰ ਤੱਕ ਲਵੋ। Recipe for Langar di Daal Ingredients: For the Daal: • Black gram (urad dal) - 1 cup • Channa dal - 1/2 cup • Rajma (kidney beans) - 1/4 cup • Water - 6 cups • Salt - to taste • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp •। Ghee- 1 tsp For the Tadka: • Ghee - 3 tbsp • Ginger (grated) - 1 tsp • Garlic (finely chopped) - 4-5 cloves • Green chilies (slit) - 2 • Onions chopped - 3 medium • Tomatoes (finely chopped) - 2 medium • Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/2 tsp • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish( optional) Steps to Prepare: 1. Cook the Daal: • Soak black gram, channa dal, and rajma overnight. • Pressure cook them with water, ghee, salt, and turmeric until soft (4–5 whistles). Mash lightly for a creamy texture. 2. Prepare the Tadka: • Heat ghee in a pan. •. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown • Add , grated ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté until aromatic. • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy. • Mix in red chili powder for color and flavor. 3. Combine: • Add the tadka to the cooked daal and simmer for 5–7 minutes to let the flavors meld. • Adjust seasoning and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. 4. Serve: • Serve hot with kheer , roti, or plain rice.
