⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Among the Burning Flowers by Samantha Shannon is an engrossing prequel to The Priority of the Orange Tree. The story revolves around Marosa Vetalda, a prisoner in her own home, controlled by her cold father, King Sigoso. This gripping tale will keep the readers hooked till the end.      This book talks about the fall of Yscalin and how it came under the Draconic Army, which is almost extinguishing humankind. The story is intriguing with a fast-paced plot. The author's writing style is flawless and unique. The rich prose makes everything vivid. For me, the characters' names and places were a little bit difficult to grasp in the beginning, but as the story went deep I got it. And there is a character list which would make it easy for the readers. I loved world-building, and I felt I was in Yscalin.     The characters, the world-building, the plot, everything is perfect. Overall, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all. Thank you @bloomsburyindia for this book.
