The story is about the demon King Asmodeus, who has taken over the mortal world. The Order of Angel warriors have a mission to take him down, but many have died or joined the enemy. Evangeline’s team is struck by a web of deception. She has no choice but to form an alliance with King Victus, a vampire ruler with a reputation for killing angels. Such an enchanting read with a fast-paced plot. The author's flawless narrative makes everything vivid. The twists and turns make it an unputdownable read. The story is set in a world of demons, angels and vampires. There is a multiple Pov. I adored Michael's character, who is a half-breed angel who wants no part of the nonhuman world. But his immense power makes him a target of King Asmodeus. Such a well-written book with well-developed characters. As an ardent fantasy lover, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all.
