6 months ago, a tiny 5-year-old boy walked up to his Guru @madurasanjay and asked if he could be taught Bharatanatyam. I still remember standing there wondering if this was just a passing interest. Would he really attend classes? Would he continue after a few days? But here we are, 6 months later. He eagerly waits for class, comes home and practices on his own, and proudly makes all of us sit and watch every new adavu he has learned. 🥹❤️ As a mother, there is something incredibly special about watching your child choose something for himself and then stay committed to it. This journey isn't about becoming a dancer overnight. It's about learning discipline, devotion, patience, confidence, and respect for an art form that has been passed down through generations. To his Guru, thank you for seeing the spark in my little boy and nurturing it with so much warmth and care. Thank you for believing in him, encouraging him, and guiding him every step of the way.
