Graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, Pastry Chef Simran had always wanted to open her own bakery. Starting with baby steps, she has her own home bakery @crumb.andcoat now where she bakes cakes, cupcakes, jar cakes, bundt cakes, truffles, granolas, cakesicles and many more items. I received the Bailey's chocolate truffle, rose and pistachio cake in a jar and dark chocolate hazelnut cake in a jar. The Bailey's Chocolate Truffle was rich and chocolatey. It was made with Bailey's Irish cream liquor, dark chocolate and fresh cream. The truffle had a finishing layer of dark cocoa powder on top. The Rose and Pistachio Cake in a jar was my favourite one. The cake was soaked with sugar water and layered with sweet whipped cream and pistachios. The top was beautifully decorated with dried rose petals and crunchy caramel. The Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Cake in a jar had chocolate sponge cake and a creamy whipped cream layer with hazelnut. It was decorated with chocolate sauce and silver sprinkles on top. I loved the desserts here and highly recommend others to try out from @crumb.andcoat too. . .
