🇱🇰 SRI LANKA IN 10 DAYS — The Ultimate Itinerary ✨ | SAVE THIS REEL Sri Lanka surprised us in the best possible way! From bustling cities and ancient ruins to misty mountains, wildlife safaris, and dreamy beaches — this island has a little bit of everything. ❤️ Since we only had 10 days, we carefully planned our route to experience the best of Sri Lanka without feeling too rushed. But if you're planning a trip, we'd highly recommend spending at least 2 weeks (or even 3!) to truly soak it all in. 💡 A few tips from our trip: ✨ Not a fan of history or architecture? Skip Sigiriya and use those extra days exploring the hill country or relaxing on the coast. ✨ Visiting during the monsoon (Aug–Oct)? Head to the East Coast instead! Places like Trincomalee, Arugam Bay, and Pasikudah usually enjoy better weather and beautiful beaches during this season. ✨ For your first or last night, choose Negombo over Colombo. It's much closer to the airport and has a laid-back beach-town vibe that we absolutely loved. ✨ Got extra days? Add Galle and Bentota to your itinerary. Wander through the charming streets of Galle Fort, go beach hopping along the southern coast, and don't miss the famous Madu River Mangrove Safari near Bentota. Trust us, the coastal drive alone is worth it! 🌴🚗 Sri Lanka is one of those destinations that keeps calling you back.
