If becoming a mom has made me “difficult”.. so be it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤍 🫶 I won’t hand over my child just because someone wants to hold him. 🔴 I won’t force my child to hug, kiss, or sit with someone just to avoid hurting feelings. 🩺 I won’t let sick people get too close and call it “overreacting.” 😴 I won’t wake a peacefully sleeping child for someone else’s entertainment. 🌱 I won’t compare my child to others, and I won’t let anyone else do it either. ✨ I won’t ignore my instincts because someone says, “Humne bhi bachche paale hain.” 🥣 And I definitely won’t force-feed my child to satisfy someone else’s opinion. Motherhood has taught me that protecting my child is far more important than pleasing people. So if setting boundaries makes me look strict, rude, sensitive, or overprotective… 🌹 I’m okay with that. Because my child doesn’t need a mother who keeps everyone happy. 🤍 He needs a mother who protects his peace. 🤍 Respects his feelings. 🤍 Trusts her instincts. 🤍 And stands up for him when he cannot stand up for himself.
