When I was in my second trimester, I went for my monthly sonography check-up. During the scan, the doctor told me that my cervix size was smaller than normal and that I might need stitches (cerclage) to help support the pregnancy. The moment I heard that, I got so scared. I cried a lot. Me and my family were extremely worried and stressed, wondering why this was happening. The doctor suggested getting the procedure done the very next day because they said it was necessary. But before rushing into it, we decided to wait for a day and take a second opinion from another doctor. They did another scan, checked all the reports carefully, and thankfully told us that everything was completely fine and there was no need for stitches. That moment taught me something very important during pregnancy — don’t panic immediately after hearing something scary. Sometimes getting another medical opinion can give you more clarity and peace of mind. 🤍 Pregnancy can already feel overwhelming, so always stay calm, ask questions, and if needed, don’t hesitate to consult another trusted doctor. #pregnancyjourney #pregnancystory #secondtrimester #pregnancycheckup #pregnancyfear momlife motherhoodjourney pregnancyanxiety newmomlife pregnancytips realmotherhood pregnancyreels momtobe indianmom momcommunity pregnancyawareness pregnancycare cervixcheck secondopinionmatters motherhoodunfiltered honestmotherhood pregnancyemotions firsttimemom pregnancyexperience momreels viralreels reelitfeelit momsofinstagram parentingreels relatablemoments
