Honestly, it didn’t happen overnight. We slowly built these habits with patience and consistency, and now meal times feel calm and happy for us. A few things that really helped us: 👼 We never introduced screens during meals, so she doesn’t expect them while eating. 👼 We try to follow a proper meal routine. Fixed meal timings helped her understand when it’s time to eat. 👼 I avoid giving snacks or random munching just before meals, so she actually feels hungry at meal time. 👼 Most of her meals are simple homemade food. We keep packaged snacks, sugary foods, chocolates, chips, and ice creams very limited. 👼 We never force-feed her. If she says she’s done, we respect it. Babies understand their hunger better than we think. 👼 We don’t make separate replacement meals. She eats what is cooked for the family, with small adjustments for her age. 👼 During meals, we try to reduce distractions and keep the environment calm. 👼 We always eat together as a family because kids learn more by watching us than by listening to us. 👼 We also make sure not everyone keeps offering random snacks throughout the day. Of course, every child is different and no parent is perfect 🤍 This is simply what worked for us and helped us build a healthy relationship with food. Healthy eating habits take time, patience, and lots of repetition. Small consistent efforts really make a big difference. Hope this helps another mama out there 🥹🤍 Feel free to ask anything in comments or DM. #toddlerm eals #kidsfood #parentingtips #screenfreebaby #motherhood toddlerfood momlife healthyhabits selffeeding
