સોમનાથ મહાદેવનું મંદિર માત્ર એક દેવાલય નથી, પણ ભારતની અતૂટ આસ્થા અને અજેય સ્વાભિમાનનું પ્રતીક છે. વર્ષ ૧૦૨૬માં થયેલા આક્રમણના ૧૦૦૦ વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થતા આજે આ પવિત્ર ભૂમિ સાક્ષી પૂરે છે કે સત્ય અને શ્રદ્ધા ક્યારેય નષ્ટ થતા નથી. અનેક વિઘ્નો અને સદીઓના સંઘર્ષ છતાં સોમનાથનું શિખર હંમેશા ગર્વથી ઊંચું રહ્યું છે. ૧૦૦૦ વર્ષના આ ઈતિહાસને નમન કરતા, આપણે સૌ આ 'સોમનાથ સ્વાભિમાન પર્વ' ની ઉજવણી કરીએ અને આવનારી પેઢીઓને આ વિજયગાથાની પ્રેરણા આપીએ. જય સોમનાથ!
