Durga Puja pandals are incomplete without the giant chandeliers which evolved from candelabra and were invented during the medieval era. They originally used candles as a source of light and remained in use until the 18th century, when gas fires, subsequently supplanted electric lights, were invented. Modern chandeliers have a more modern design that uses LEDs, and combines the elements of both classic and contemporary models; some have also equipped with crystal refraction prisms or small mirrors. #travtasy #Jodutsav
