With its historical and cultural ties with Tibet, Tawang in arunachal pradesh houses the most important treasures of Buddhism in the Himalayas. Here the habitats of llamas follow the philosophy of Buddha to achieve Nirvana, liberation from the illusion of the desires of the material world and the elevation of the spirit. Crossing Tawang means to get lost among its many isolated valleys and getting in touch with deafening silence and to get in touch with the inner worlds that are unknown to us. The sound of the wind and the chants of the monks captivated us by a new light for such purity. The bright colors were a treat to the eyes of the beholder. We were overwhelmed by the philosophical sense and infinite spaces. But what really attracted us was the serenity and simplicity of the monks who inhabit them, who fill the place with meaning. #travtasy
