Originally from the Punjab region, this dance style is famous for the colorfulness of its costumes and the joy of its music. This folk rhythm is born of the celebrations of the harvest of the bhang from which it derives its name, radiating a powerful energy of celebration and joy, which is why it is still as current as in the remote past of Indian culture.
