It's about a generation of teenagers who are drowning under the weight of trending career choices, parental expectations, peer pressure, and a social media feed that constantly tells them who they should be, what they should want, and how fast they should get there. It's about how many bright, beautiful, capable young people end up lost - not because they aren't talented, but because nobody ever stopped to ask them what they actually wanted. This book stops. and asks. But my favourite part? the parent-teen partnership framework. 🤍 so many books like this accidentally leave parents behind -or worse, frame them as the problem.Unfollow the Crowd brings them into the conversation with so much grace. It understands that most parents aren't trying to control their children's futures out of selfishness - they're doing it out of love and fear.
