
Samsung has revealed the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first trifold phone. It folds out from a regular smartphone shape into a 10-inch tablet-style display. The device carries a 6.5-inch FHD+ cover screen and a 10-inch QXGA+ foldable panel. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X with adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rates. The cover reaches 2600 nits, while the main screen peaks at 1600 nits. It measures 12.9 mm when folded and just 3.9 mm at its thinnest when open. The build includes Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front, a ceramic-glass fibre polymer back, and an Armor Aluminum frame with a titanium hinge. It comes with an IP48 rating. The camera setup is led by a 200 MP main sensor with OIS, joined by a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. There are two 10 MP selfie cameras, one on the cover and one inside. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy paired with 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB storage. A 5,600 mAh three-cell battery supports 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, UWB, and Android 16 with One UI 8 out of the box. Weight is 309 g. The Galaxy Z TriFold starts at 3,594,000 won (USD 2445 / Rs 2.19 lakh approx.) for the 512 GB model. It rolls out in Korea on December 12, with launches planned for China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and the U.S. Samsung says the retail box includes a Carbon Shield Case, AR film, a 45W adapter and a cable.
