Saw the Galaxy S26 Ultra on the subway today, and something interesting happened. The woman using the phone switched on Privacy Mode, and from my seat right next to her, the screen instantly became invisible. From the side angle it just looked dark, almost like the display was off. Only the person holding the phone could clearly see the content on the screen. Anyone sitting nearby couldn’t read messages, see photos, or peek at anything. It’s Samsung’s new Privacy Display technology, designed to limit viewing angles and protect what’s on your screen in public places like trains, cafes, or flights. Pretty impressive to see it working in a real situation. Media: Ice Universe on X
