Day 11 🌞 of building 108 Suryanamaskars And today, I chose rest. Not every day of a journey to 108 Surya Namaskars looks intense. Some days are about slowing down, listening to the body, and allowing integration. Since it’s Sunday, I kept it gentle, a few nourishing stretches, mindful pranayama, and conscious breathing to reset the nervous system. Rest days are not breaks from discipline; they are a part of the practice. Over the past days, as we’ve been steadily working towards 108 Surya Namaskars for Makar Sankranti, I’ve felt firsthand how this practice transforms the body and mind. Surya Namaskar is not just a flow, it is a complete sadhana that builds strength, stamina, and inner warmth, especially in winters. It improves circulation, supports digestion, balances hormones, strengthens the spine, enhances lung capacity, and brings a deep sense of mental clarity and emotional stability. Practiced consistently, it creates discipline, resilience, and a beautiful rhythm between breath and movement. Our challenge has been about progress, not perfection. About showing up daily, even if it’s with fewer rounds, slower pace, or simply mindful rest like today. Each day, we are laying one brick at a time, preparing the body and breath for the sacred count of 108. If you’re on this journey with us, know this, resting when needed is just as powerful as flowing. Trust the process. Trust your body. Keep moving forward, one conscious round at a time. Comment 🌞 if you’re doing this challenge with us Save this post to remind yourself that rest is also discipline And share it with someone who thinks they need to push every single day. We flow, we pause, and we rise — together. 🌞 #yogawithpragati #pragatiwithyoga #onlineyogaclasses #yogaforwomen #suryanamaskar
