Still buzzing with the adrenaline rush which was #syncd3 .0 What a concept for a show and flawless execution by the two mavericks @kamna90 and @malhotrautsav and the entire team @yellowstripedance Snippets from one of the 4 stories played out that night on stage. This one was “Lash 🧟♀️ Ki Talaash.” I have been on stage several times, but never been part of anything so funny, crazy and yet so mind bogglingly interesting. Rehearsals for this one were gruelling like each of the other ones but were never boring for a minute. These weekend classes gave me much more than I expected; we all found unlikely friends and fell in love with each other coz we are all bound by our common love for dancing. But as Kamna said in one of her post class speech, (she always did boost us up after every class and wiped away all the tiredness with her words ♥️) She said, “Each one of us was there for some reason of our own” Which was absolutely correct, apart from our common love for dance and art. For me, the last two years have been about getting myself back, me, myself, the person I have lost somewhere in the last decade. In these last two years of My “Talaash” of myself, dance has been my saviour. Going back to dancing was the best self love that I have given myself. While dancing, nothing else matters, there is nothing that I carry on my back when I dance. No thoughts, no worries, nothing bothers me while I dance. Only dance exists. And syncd took it to extreme heights. Thanks to Kamna and Utsav and the beautiful sets they taught. I went to bed memorising steps, was practising thumkas while brushing my teeth, doing steps at the traffic signal. It may have looked weird to any random Gurugramer who may have seen me, but it paid off. I did not forget a single step. Did not mess up any of my entries or exits, was at the correct wing each time etc etc. so yay. Would hopefully share more soon. Thanks to Sweta Pal who was there to cheer me and shot some videos. Aa expected, even after two months of coaching, Tall A failed to get a single good shot or video of mine. Proves, he doesn’t understand the language I speak 🙄 #danceshow #dance #stageshow
