
A nice easy paced run at @powairunofficial today with friends. Some of you may not know but I used to run a lot before covid. I had done multiple half’s and also done my first full marathon and was in my best shape and then covid happened. For the next few years we all sat at home. Yoga became a larger part of my fitness journey then. In 2022, I hurt my knees and fractured my hand just when I had started back my journey and that pushed me further away from running. In 2024, I realised that I had grade 3 cartilage wear and tear and was advised to not jump or do any vigorous activity. I used to wear knee braces but I didn’t want to just give up. I started first training with @stridersmiles and then also started working on my strength with my trainer @unstoppable_heer . In a few months braces were off and I started doing smaller mileage with ease. I no longer aim for a half or a full marathon but I am glad that I can still run 10kms with ease and share these moments with my friends. [running, marathon, prerna sinha]
