Tucked away in a corner of the city, where time slows down and hearts open up , is a little haven of Bengal soul and continental charm. 💫 A welcome drink of ‘ Tetul Batasha’r shorbot’ (tamarind sharbat) followed by delicious fish chops with ‘ Kashundi’ (mustard sauce) set the tone for a splendid afternoon. The Vekti Paturi with Gondhoraj rice and Kosha Mangsho with Porotha reminds one of a traditional home cooked Bengali meal. Flavours reminiscent of Bengali kitchens. Then came the ‘ Gokul Pithe’ - it just took me back to my childhood. We wrapped ourselves in soft handloom whispers, and tried on jewellery that told stories in silver and stone. The warmest host, the coziest corners, and the mandatory adda session tickled the brain cells.
