Must visit Shiva temple with a beach view in Karnataka 🔱🙏🌊 📍Shri Someshwara Somnatha temple, Ullal Situated on the banks of the Arabian sea just 16 kms from Mangalore, lies this beautiful Shiva temple. It is famous for its natural beauty surrounded by the sea and lush green coconut tress. Historically, it is said to have been built by the kings of Alupa Dynasty in the 10th century AD. The mighty huge rocks on the sea shore are called as Rudra Shile. The inscriptions found in the temple say it was renovated bin the 15th century during the reign of Vijayanagar king Immadi Devaraya. Definitely a must visit temple on the sea shores!
