If you have very little time to spare in Udupi and want to do something unique and adventurous, then I highly recommend trying Stand up paddling.! 🛶 Because honestly, paddling through the beautiful backwaters of Udupi feels nothing like our city life. just calm waters, scenic views and peace all around 🌴🌊❤️ I booked my session with @kadalsurfschool and learning from Tanvi @indiansurfergirl , a 9-time national champion, just made the entire experience feel safer and more special✨ Initially I was super scared but slowly got a hang of it as instructors kept guiding, and motivating me and even cracked jokes to get rid of my fears. If you get tired of halfway, you can kneel down and paddle or just go to sleep cos no one disturbs you in middle of a goddamn river. Even if you fall from the board, there’s nothing to worry as the instructors are always around you and you have your life jackets on.! The whole experience costs you around ₹1100 for 1 hr and ₹1500 for 1.5 hrs. And honestly, it’s absolutely worth it. You can even grab some fresh toddy from local shops, enjoy some delicious fish meals or hit the beach for a beautiful sunset.
