As a woman who’s been traveling across India, I’ve realized — it’s not luxury we crave, it’s comfort, safety, and the simple joy of exploring freely. Traveling isn’t supposed to feel like a test of courage every single time. It should feel like freedom. 1. Safety first, always: From solo travel to night walks-we just want to explore without fear. 2. Respect: No judgments. No staring. Just treating us like every other traveler. 3.Clean restrooms & hygienic stops: It’s basic. Not optional. 4. Reliable transport: Cabs that don’t overcharge, trains that feel secure, drivers who respect boundaries. 5. Freedom to wear what we want: The freedom to wear whatever clothes we want (of course at appropriate locations) without being stared at. 6. Genuine local conversations: We love connecting with people who make us feel welcome, not watched. 7. Spaces that celebrate women: Hostels, communities and cafés run by women for women 8. Peaceful moments: Watching a sunrise alone by the beach without feeling unsafe? That’s gold. 9. Comfort and convinience: Good lighting, lockers, mirrors, menstrual hygiene, hot water — tiny details, huge difference. 10. Freedom: To travel, laugh, and live on our own terms.
