In Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur, a pregnant woman from remote Boter village went into medical distress inside the dense forests of Indravati National Park, where there was no road, vehicle, or mobile connectivity. ITBP personnel, along with local police, carried her on a makeshift stretcher and trekked nearly 5 kilometres through difficult forest terrain to reach a healthcare centre. Their timely effort ensured the woman received medical treatment, and both mother and child are reported to be stable.
